SCB-GHMC merger: 1.2L civilians set for civic governance

Amid promising indications of the SCB-GHMC merger being formalised in the next few months, TOI has exclusively accessed the eight-member excision committee report tabled before the ministry of defence (MoD), earlier in February. The report categorically states that all the 2,670 acres of civilian land lying within the Secunderabad Cantonment will be transferred to the state corporation the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in this case at free of cost.
