Mild quake hits T'gana, AP; epicentre near Pulichintala

An earthquake of magnitude 3 on the Richter scale hit several towns and villages of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Sunday with the epicentre at Chintalapalem, close to AP's Pulichintala reservoir and irrigation project. Hyderabad-based NGRI, which recorded the quake, said it was a minor one and asked people not to panic.
