City crosses 41°C; state sizzles at 44°C

With temperature soaring across the state, mercury crossed 41 degree Celsius in the city on Wednesday. It was also the hottest day of the year in the state with 20 districts crossing 44 degree Celsius where officials have issued an orange alert.
