Seven of family among nine dead in Hyderabad apartment fire

A fire broke out at an apartment complex in Hyderabad, killing seven members of a family and two others. One person was severely injured. Twelve residents were rescued by the state disaster response force and fire services. The fire started at the stilt parking of the building, where the owner was illegally storing chemicals and inflammable materials. The building did not have any safety systems or equipment in place. The owner has been admitted to a hospital and a criminal case has been filed against him.
