BJP wanted RSS man Revanth as Telangana Congress chief: Owaisi

The AIMIM party, led by Asaduddin Owaisi, is trying to sway Muslim voters in Telangana away from the Congress party by highlighting its alleged RSS background. Muslims make up 13% of the state's population and had largely supported the BRS in the previous elections. However, the improved performance of the Congress in the Karnataka polls has led to speculation of a split in the Muslim vote. The Owaisi brothers have been criticizing the Congress and its state president, Revanth Reddy, accusing him of having affiliations with the RSS, BJP, ABVP, and TDP.
