Cabinet gives nod, 43,000 RTC staff set to be govt employees

In a significant decision, the state cabinet on Monday decided to merge the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) into the state government. With this decision, as many as 43,000 RTC employees will become government employees. There has been a long-pending demand from the employees to merge the public transport corporation with the state government.
