Big push to irrigation: Kadem, Modikunta get Centre's nod

In a further boost to irrigation cover in Telangana, the technical advisory committee (TAC) of Union jal shakti ministry on Friday granted clearance to two major irrigation projects - Kadem (Gudem) Lift Irrigation Project and Modikunta Vagu on Godavari river - that were proposed by the state government.
