Heavy parasite presence poses health risks to Amrabad tigers

A recent study conducted by wildlife biologists at Amrabad Tiger Reserve (ATR) has shed light on the alarming health risk posed by heavy parasite presence to tigers and other wild animals. The research said lack of proper vaccination for cattle grazing in the forest had resulted in parasite species entering the food chain of tigers and leopards. Around 16% of tiger prey is cattle.
