Vijaya Nirmala's demise: Funeral today in T'gana

Veteran actress and director Vijaya Nirmala, who had been ailing for a while, passed away in a city hospital on Wednesday night. She was 73. The actress’ last rites will be performed at the family’s farmhouse at Chilkur on Friday.
