Hyderabad: Kin chop man's body, stash in sack and dump

The mutilated body of a 50-year-old man stashed in a bag was found abandoned under mysterious circumstances near a dargah in Lungar Houz late Thursday. The suspects, both siblings, who were tracked down from CCTV footage, told police their brother died after a protracted illness and since they didn't have money for the funeral, they decapitated him, chopped off limbs, stuffed it in a bag and dumped it in the shadows. The brother-sister duo, who police claim is of unsound mind, was booked for murder. "We will alter the murder charge if the autopsy report of the deceased, Ashok, points to natural death," said a police officer.
