Telangana: 1.35 crore yet to take first jab

A staggering 1.35 crore beneficiaries in the state are yet to get a single jab of the Covid-19 vaccine largely due to hesitancy by people in the rural areas, authorities said on Tuesday. According to latest details, the state has so far vaccinated close to 1.26 crore beneficiaries (figures up to August 23), while 43 lakh beneficiaries have received the second dose.
