Booze sales: Since '14, T'gana clocks Rs 1.35L cr revenue

Income from liquor has been the largest source of own revenue for Telangana since its formation in 2014. Over the past seven years, state has earned Rs 1.35 lakh crore from liquor, with revenue having nearly tripled from Rs 10,833 crore in 2014-15 to Rs 27,888 crore in 2020-21.
