Row in Brazil over Covaxin deal, Bharat Bio says no wrongdoing

Brazil’s health ministry has said it is temporarily suspending its order for procuring 20 million doses of Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin following allegations of irregularities. The Hyderabadbased vaccine-maker has, however, denied any wrongdoing and said it has followed a common, widely accepted and established vaccine procurement process that includes an advance payment.
