RTC staff’s fate hanging in the balance

Offering voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) to TSRTC staffers will cost the state government dearly. The State which is faced with economic slowdown and an anticipated fall in revenues, may have to shell out Rs 2,400 crore as part of retirement scheme.
